Building from scratch is the only part of this trade where you get to do it right the first time. No inherited mistakes, no guessing what is behind the plaster. Which is exactly why the planning stage deserves more attention than most builders give it.
We work alongside your architect and engineer rather than around them, and we get involved early enough to flag the things that get expensive later: a foundation design that has not accounted for the actual soil, a roof pitch that fights the prevailing wind, a window schedule that will not survive the salt.
On the coast, specification is not a detail. Reinforcement cover, cement type, the grade of every fixing that lives outside, and how the envelope is sealed against wind-driven rain all decide whether the house still looks new in ten years. We build with SABS-approved materials as standard and we will show you the delivery notes.

Our approach
Programme before ground-breaking
You get a build programme with real dates and named milestones, and a fortnightly update against it. You should never have to ask where the job is.
One contract, one accountable name
Every subcontractor is ours to manage and ours to pay. You have one number to call and one person who cannot pass the blame sideways.
Coastal specification as standard
Cover to reinforcement, fixing grades and sealing details are specified for salt exposure from day one, not upgraded after the first winter.
Where we do this
Every suburb throws up something different. Pick yours to see what we run into there.
Questions
Do you work with my architect?
Yes, and we prefer it. The earlier we are in the conversation the more buildability problems get solved on paper, where solving them is free.
Are you NHBRC registered?
Ask us directly and we will send you our current registration status in writing before you sign anything. Any builder who will not do that is telling you something.
How do payments work on a new build?
Against measured progress at agreed stages, never in advance of work done. You will see exactly what each stage covers before the contract is signed.
